Jessica,
I enjoyed reading about Ms. Brown.
Are there any other records of Christian Native Americans?

Hi Kirsten,

Thank you for your comment. We do have some material relating to Christian Native Americans, such as John Eliot's Bible. You could try searching our catalog (http://slk020.liberty3.net/ACL/gateway/gateway.exe?application=ACL&displayform=opac/main) for "Indians of North America - Missions" or "Indians - Missions." If you have any additional questions, please contact us directly: http://www.congregationallibrary.org/contact

Hello Jessica, Are you a librarian, archivist, or other. I am retired (admin.asst. San Jose State Univ) and I love to do research. I do genealogical research (free) for people I find have hit a brick wall for a number of years. I am working on two people who are related to CATHARINE BROWN. I'm trying to link them. One is tri-racial, black, NA, white. If you want to create an email account that will receive Ancestry junk emails, I can place your email in my Ancestry account for access to the two Brown accounts. I have a database on my computer and word files and I move the info in these to the Ancestry account. I type 120wpm which helps. You may be able to access the files freely, I placed the URL below. "Brown Cherokee Native American Family Tree"

Bibles from around the World

This gallery was the basis for a display at the library, which was mirrored on the web site. This is a sample of our international Bibles, and by no means complete. The staff worked together to compile the most eye-catching for this project.
